Crock Pot Cube Steak OMG!! THIS IS DELICIOUS!!



Incredible dish !


* Ingredients:


° 2 lbs (1 kg) cubed stewing beef

° 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Canola oil

° 1 onion, chopped

° 2 carrots, diced

° 45 ml (3 tbsp.) Flour

° 1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup

° 2 cups (500 ml) beef broth

° 1/4 cup (60 ml) chili sauce

° 10 ml (2 tsp.) Chopped garlic

° 1 sprig thyme

° 1 bay leaf

° Salt and pepper, to taste


* Preparation:


Brown the meat on all sides in hot oil.

Do the same with the onion and carrots.

Place the beef and vegetables in a deep saucepan and sprinkle with flour.

Stir and cook for 1 to 2 minute (s).

Pour in the maple syrup, beef broth, chili sauce, garlic, thyme and bay leaf.

Salt and pepper.

Cover and simmer over low heat 2 to 3 hours or until the beef is tender.

Cooking in the slow cooker:

Start the preparation according to the method presented above.

Placing meat also vegetables in slow cookerr .

Sprinkle with flour and stir.

Add 250 ml (1 cup) of broth and the other ingredients, except for the thyme.

Cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours at low power.

One hour before the end of cooking, add the thyme.
